Miradouro means “viewpoint” in Portuguese – and that’s exactly what we want to share with you. An invitation to see the world differently. Slower. With more care. More beauty.
Our ceramics are not just objects. They’re small fragments of Portugal that can live in your home. Scented with ocean salt and kissed by the sun. They recall whitewashed houses with blue shutters, Lisbon’s winding hills and alleys, the shade of olive trees, and the aroma of freshly brewed bica in the morning.
Each tile and each coaster is made entirely by hand in our Portuguese atelier – from soft clay to the final firing. It’s a slow, intentional process in which traditional azulejo patterns are revived and given new character – so you can hold them, keep them, and bring their story and southern warmth into your space.
It’s an invitation to create a corner of your home that evokes a Portuguese beach. Where a simple cup of coffee, resting on one of our coasters, tastes deeper, richer.
What we offer:
Decorative tiles – unique and colorful, ready to adorn walls, niches, countertops, or commercial spaces. They add soul and story to any interior.
Ceramic coasters – small works of art on which you can place your cup, teapot, or candle – or let them shine on their own.
Custom projects – featuring your logo, brand name, or a design tailored specially for you.
Who’s behind all this?
Behind every tile, every design, and every piece of fired Portuguese clay is Natalia.
Once, she lived a very different life – fast-paced, noisy, and far from sand and waves. But her heart led her here, to the edge of Europe, where the air smells of lavender and salty wind, and life moves to the rhythm of nature.
She left everything familiar behind. And she built her own world. Surrounded by the dogs she loves, the horses that became part of her daily life, and the light and quiet that fill every day.
Natalia fell in love with Portugal completely – so much so that she wanted not just to admire it, but to understand it and be immersed in its spirit.
She met with local artisans who have crafted tiles for generations. She watched their hands, listened to their stories. She learned patience, humility, and respect for the material and the tradition. She poured her heart into it – letting the culture, the style, and the philosophy of this work take root in her.
Today, she says that her hands carry the knowledge of those older Portuguese masters – their gestures, their rituals, their deep love for this land. Every tile she creates is not only her own story, but also a tribute to them and to the ceramic heritage she’s come to cherish.
Natalia works slowly, with care and intention. Every pattern is painted with love. Every firing tells a story of earth, sun, and sea.
She believes that objects made with heart carry energy – and that you’ll feel it. That when you hold one of these small tiles, you’re holding a piece of Portugal. A piece of her world.
An invitation to pause and admire – as if from a viewpoint – the beauty that’s right within reach.
